TUMint CEO and President Emeritus travel to Uzbekistan, May 3–6, 2022

TUM Inter­na­tio­nal CEO Frie­de­ri­ke Het­tin­ger and Prof. Wolf­gang A. Herr­mann, Pre­si­dent Eme­ri­tus of Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­si­ty of Munich and Hono­ra­ry Pre­si­dent of New Uzbe­ki­stan Uni­ver­si­ty were tra­ve­ling to Uzbe­ki­stan last week.

On the agen­da of the visit at New Uzbe­ki­stan Uni­ver­si­ty was:

  • …the announce­ment of the admis­si­on to New Uzbe­ki­stan Uni­ver­si­ty
  • …a press con­fe­rence with media inter­views
  • …an awar­ding of cer­ti­fi­ca­tes to stu­dents for par­ti­ci­pa­ting in the first “Munich Boot­camp” on #inno­va­ti­on and #entre­pre­neur­ship at TUM
  • …Prof. Wolf­gang A. Herr­mann — Pre­si­dent Eme­ri­tus of Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­si­ty of Munich — giving a legen­da­ry che­mis­try lec­tu­re on the peri­odic table
  • …net­wor­king and exch­an­ge with the aca­de­mic staff.

The jour­ney was round off with a din­ner at the resi­dence of the Ger­man ambassa­dor Dr. Tilo Klin­ner.

TUM Inter­na­tio­nal GmbH is loo­king for­ward to a fur­ther coope­ra­ti­on with the Agen­cy for pre­si­den­ti­al edu­ca­tio­nal insti­tu­ti­ons of the Repu­blic of Uzbe­ki­stan and the New Uzbe­ki­stan Uni­ver­si­ty.
