TUMint at UIIN Conference in Amsterdam, June 13–15, 2022

TUM International was participating at the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) meeting in Amsterdam. It was an inspiring conference on industry-academia engagement — valorization over commercialization. What we took away from it…

The most important questions of the future seem to be:

1) Which role universities play in the future?
🎓 Talent engine
🎓 Discovery rocket
🎓 Life partner
🎓 Launch pad
🎓 Home base

2) What are future working skills?
💿 digital literacy & interaction => virtual collaboration
💿 agile work
💿 digital learning & self initiative
💿 creativity
💿 entrepreneurial action
💿 adaptability & perseverance

3) How to advance university-industry engagement in order to drive institutional changes?

It looks like we are on a good track with our partners from KUTAISI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY and SIEMENS RESEARCH AND INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM.
The three days of ideathon, interaction and innovation together with Magda Magradze and Natascha Eckert were very interesting and enriching.
