Ste­phan Jentsch has been a stra­te­gic part­ner of TUMint sin­ce 2023. He sup­ports the team in the are­as of urban deve­lo­p­ment and sus­tainable urban plan­ning, the inte­gra­ti­on of uni­ver­si­ty com­ple­xes into the urban con­text, and cam­pus typo­lo­gies. The focus is on the stra­te­gic deve­lo­p­ment of new uni­ver­si­ty loca­ti­ons in Euro­pe, Asia and the Midd­le East.

Ste­phan Jentsch stu­di­ed archi­tec­tu­re and urban plan­ning in Aachen, Ber­lin and Zurich. He mana­ged a Ger­man plan­ning office in Chi­na and work­ed on plan­ning for new cities and urban dis­tricts in Asia. He gai­ned exper­ti­se espe­ci­al­ly in sus­tainable urban deve­lo­p­ment and tou­rism mas­ter plans in num­e­rous count­ries.

In Ger­ma­ny, Ste­phan Jentsch advi­ses major Ger­man infra­struc­tu­re pro­jects in the fields of trans­port and ener­gy sup­p­ly.
