Prof. Dr. Isa­bell Wel­pe is one of Germany’s most out­stan­ding aca­de­mics and one of the lea­ding experts on stra­tegy, inno­va­ti­on and lea­der­ship in the digi­tal age and its impacts on edu­ca­ti­on insti­tu­ti­ons and firms.

As hol­der of the Chair of Stra­tegy and Orga­ni­sa­ti­on at the TUM, she has many years of expe­ri­ence in rese­arch and tea­ching. Her exper­ti­se spans various are­as, inclu­ding the digi­tal trans­for­ma­ti­on of com­pa­nies, uni­ver­si­ties, busi­ness model inno­va­ti­on, plat­form eco­no­mics, the future of work and lea­der­ship as well as inno­va­ti­on in and of orga­ni­sa­ti­ons.

Through her regu­lar publi­ca­ti­ons in inter­na­tio­nal jour­nals and her invol­vement in key insti­tu­ti­ons, she has made a name for hers­elf as a lea­ding expert in her field.
