Industry Center Obernburg (ICO)
Together with the park operator Mainsite, TUM Interantional developed a center of excellence for its Initiative for Interdisciplinary Regional Development (IIRE). Pilot applications are the logistics center and Mainsite’s expansion plans for the Industrie Center Obernburg (ICO).
The effects of these changes on the traffic situation in neighboring cities and the region were analyzed with the support of TUM. The visualization of the accessibility of the site as well as the simulation of multimodal traffic scenarios support the Mainsite in its planning projects as well as the cooperation between the Mainsite and other stakeholders in the region.
