Dr. Geor­ge­ta Auk­tor (née Vidi­can) has been Seni­or Pro­ject Mana­ger at TUM Inter­na­tio­nal sin­ce Octo­ber 2021, focu­sing on tech­no­lo­gy trans­fer, clus­te­ring, and uni­ver­si­ty site deve­lo­p­ment and manage­ment. She is pas­sio­na­te about under­stan­ding the dri­vers of chan­ge, buil­ding com­mu­ni­ties of prac­ti­ce, and trans­la­ting visi­ons into actionable stra­te­gies for govern­ments, indus­try, edu­ca­ti­on and rese­arch insti­tu­ti­ons.

Dr. Geor­ge­ta Auk­tor stu­di­ed inter­na­tio­nal deve­lo­p­ment (Ph.D.) and urban plan­ning (M.A.) at the Mas­sa­chu­setts Insti­tu­te of Tech­no­lo­gy (MIT), appli­ed socio­lo­gy (M.A.) at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mas­sa­chu­setts Bos­ton, and eco­no­mics at the West Uni­ver­si­ty of Timiso­ara (B.A.). Sin­ce the begin­ning of her care­er, Dr. Auk­tor has work­ed at the inter­sec­tion of rese­arch, poli­cy, and aca­de­mia to advan­ce know­ledge of com­plex socie­tal trans­for­ma­ti­on pro­ces­ses and advi­se poli­cy­ma­kers on stra­te­gic actions to pro­mo­te inno­va­ti­on, increase the effec­ti­ve­ness of indus­tri­al poli­cy, and enable the tran­si­ti­on to a green and inclu­si­ve eco­no­my. Dr. Auk­tor is also a rese­arch asso­cia­te at the Ger­man Deve­lo­p­ment Insti­tu­te in Bonn and a cer­ti­fied envi­ron­men­tal mana­ger and audi­tor.
