Dat Le
(Junior Project Manager)
Dat Le holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Robotics,
Cognition, Intelligence from the Technical University of Munich. His academic and professional
background focuses on AI, machine learning engineering, and data science.
During his career, Dat worked on end-to-end AI and machine learning projects in both research
and industry, including applications in computer vision, natural language processing, and
autonomous driving. He gained experience in developing and deploying machine learning
solutions for financial applications during his internship at Munich Re. He later conducted his
master’s thesis research at CARIAD (Volkswagen), where he developed data-driven methods for
identifying safety-critical driving scenarios in autonomous driving systems. His research was
published and presented at the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Conference (ITSC) 2025
in Gold Coast, Australia.
In June 2026, Dat joined TUM International as a Junior Project Manager. He supports the
development and implementation of academic programmes for partner institutions worldwide,
with responsibilities including curriculum design, partner collaboration, and quality assurance.
