Cara Knott
(Senior Manager I Entrepreneurship & Industry Engagement)
Cara Knott studied Behavioral- and Neurobiology (B.Sc.) at the University of Göttingen before studying Human Movement Science (M.Sc., cum laude) at the Free University Amsterdam. Her research focus was on the interaction between brain and muscles when generating precise hand movements, and how age affects this process.
After her studies in 2022, Cara co-founded the startup Madglove. Madglove develops and produces home-rehabilitation gloves for individuals with neurological conditions including Stroke.
As co-founder of a MedTech company, Cara gained valuable experience in a diverse and dynamic working environment. This prepared her well for the start of her career at TUM International, where, since September 2023, she initially managed the Siemens Research and Innovation Ecosystem in Munich. Drawing on this experience, she now leads the Entrepreneurship & Industry Engagement pillar as Senior Manager.
