TUM Innovation Experience — Strengthening Cooperation with Shanghai ANYU Education Technology Co., Ltd. (IN ThoughtBridge), Shanghai

Shang­hai ANYU Edu­ca­ti­on Tech­no­lo­gy Co., Ltd. (IN Thought­Bridge), based in Shang­hai, Chi­na, and TUM Inter­na­tio­nal GmbH — the whol­ly owned (100%) TUM Uni­ver­si­ty Com­pa­ny, Munich — estab­lished their part­ner­ship in Novem­ber 2024 by sig­ning a coope­ra­ti­on agree­ment aimed at pro­mo­ting glo­bal aca­de­mic exch­an­ge and inno­va­ti­on-dri­ven lear­ning. TUM Inter­na­tio­nal and Shang­hai ANYU Edu­ca­ti­on Tech­no­lo­gy Co., Ltd. (IN Thought­Bridge) are exclu­si­ve­ly coope­ra­ting in this area for the Chi­na regi­on.

In Novem­ber 2025, both sides met again in Munich to dis­cuss streng­thening this col­la­bo­ra­ti­on, expan­ding the scope of acti­vi­ties, intro­du­cing new pro­gram for­mats, and enhan­cing long-term stra­te­gic coope­ra­ti­on.

Sin­ce 2024, the part­ner­ship has suc­cessful­ly enab­led over 200 stu­dents, along with facul­ty mem­bers and uni­ver­si­ty admi­nis­tra­tors from Chi­na, to par­ti­ci­pa­te in the TUM Future Tech­no­lo­gy Inno­va­ti­on Expe­ri­ence Pro­gram, which offers immersi­ve Win­ter and Sum­mer Pro­grams in Munich. In addi­ti­on, mul­ti­ple Chi­ne­se uni­ver­si­ty dele­ga­ti­ons have visi­ted TUM Inter­na­tio­nal to explo­re TUM’s cut­ting-edge inno­va­ti­on and rese­arch eco­sys­tem.

Loo­king ahead, both par­ties aim to broa­den and deepen their coope­ra­ti­on by:

  • Expan­ding the ran­ge of aca­de­mic sub­jects and inter­di­sci­pli­na­ry pro­grams offe­red in the Win­ter and Sum­mer Schools.
  • Intro­du­cing new exch­an­ge oppor­tu­ni­ties for stu­dents and facul­ty.
  • Deve­lo­ping new event for­mats that fos­ter stron­ger con­nec­tions bet­ween Chi­ne­se and Ger­man uni­ver­si­ties and indus­tries.


This next pha­se marks a signi­fi­cant step in buil­ding a more com­pre­hen­si­ve, future-ori­en­ted part­ner­ship bet­ween TUM Inter­na­tio­nal and Shang­hai ANYU Edu­ca­ti­on Tech­no­lo­gy Co., Ltd. (IN Thought­Bridge).
