Last night, par­ti­ci­pan­ts of the TUM Fema­le men­to­rING Pro­gram gathe­red at our part­ner com­pa­ny, attemp­to GmbH & Co. KG. Spe­cia­li­zing in soft­ware solu­ti­ons for banks, insu­rance com­pa­nies, indus­tries, and trade, attemp­to excels in imple­men­ting com­plex IT pro­jects.

We had an enligh­tening evening, fea­turing inspi­ring insights from Lisa Böpp­le (geb. Schell) Böpp­le, Snehal Kul­kar­ni, and Patric Betz about their care­ers at attemp­to. Enga­ging dis­cus­sions and lively exch­an­ges took place among all par­ti­ci­pan­ts, com­ple­men­ted by a deli­cious buf­fet. 🥗🥘🍤🍹

Throug­hout the year, TUM fema­le stu­dents bene­fit from the sup­port of expe­ri­en­ced men­tors from pres­ti­gious com­pa­nies, inclu­ding attemp­to, which curr­ent­ly con­tri­bu­tes three men­tors to the pro­gram. The men­to­rING initia­ti­ve aims to increase the pro­por­ti­on of women in tech­ni­cal­ly-ori­en­ted com­pa­nies and faci­li­ta­te care­er ent­ry for fema­le stu­dents.

Sin­ce its incep­ti­on, men­to­rING has part­ne­red with men­tors from over 60 com­pa­nies in the grea­ter Munich area. This col­la­bo­ra­ti­on allows part­ner com­pa­nies to meet talen­ted young fema­le pro­fes­sio­nals and show­ca­se their orga­niza­ti­ons at various events. As a result, many part­ner com­pa­nies have suc­cessful­ly hired qua­li­fied fema­le care­er star­ters.
