Part-time Working Student (m/f/d) 🚀
International Education & Innovation Projects
Do you want to contribute to projects that shape the future of education and innovation worldwide?
At TUM International, we work at the forefront of building new education and innovation hubs around the world – together with visionary partners from academia, industry, and the public sector, often at the highest decision-making levels. Rooted in the Technical University of Munich (TUM), we bring the strength of TUM and the Munich ecosystem – research, startups, corporates, and public institutions – into our international projects.
Our work is interdisciplinary, international, and fast-moving, and working students are not “helpers on the side”: you’ll be part of the team from day one, with responsibilities that grow over time and the chance to dive deep into projects with real global impact. Spoiler: traveling may be part of the job.
Your role
As a working student, you will support our team across international projects – from concept development and stakeholder coordination to preparing high-quality materials for decision-makers. Depending on your strengths and interests, you may take ownership of workstreams and contribute directly to shaping project outcomes.
Your tasks
- Support the development and implementation of international projects related to research, education, innovation, and ecosystem building.
- Prepare presentations, briefings, and project documentation for senior stakeholders and partners.
- Help plan, coordinate, and run workshops, meetings, and events (online and on-site).
- Support stakeholder management: coordination, follow-ups, and structured communication with partners worldwide.
- Conduct research and analysis (benchmarks, best practices, ecosystem mapping, trend scanning) to inform strategic decisions.
- Contribute to project operations: timelines, task tracking, quality checks, and keeping workstreams moving.
Your profile
- Curious and quick to learn; you enjoy connecting dots across disciplines and cultures.
- Highly organized and reliable, with a proactive, hands-on attitude.
- Strong communication skills and a high standard for quality (especially for slides and written materials).
- Interest in and exposure to tech-driven topics such as innovation ecosystems, digitalization, engineering/science, entrepreneurship, and future skills.
- Comfortable working with common office tools (PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Google Sheets, Word, Canva) – and motivated to level up fast.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- German is a plus – and any additional languages are highly welcome.
- Located in or around Munich so that you are flexibly available for team days, workshops, partner meetings, etc. (at least 1x per week).
We offer
- A unique insight into high-impact international projects at the intersection of education, innovation, and strategy – rooted in TUM’s excellence and connected to the Munich ecosystem.
- A steep learning curve and growing responsibility – as a true team member.
- A collaborative and international culture with flat hierarchies and fast decision-making.
- Flexible working hours to fit your studies.
- A modern office in Munich’s city center.
- The chance to join on-site activities – including international travel depending on project needs.
Starting date: February / March 2026
