The \u201cMOBiLus\u201d con\u00adsor\u00adti\u00adum was sel\u00adec\u00adted by the Know\u00adledge and Inno\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon Com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty (KIC<\/a> ) of the Euro\u00adpean Insti\u00adtu\u00adte of Inno\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon and Tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgy (EIT) <\/a>to deve\u00adlop stra\u00adte\u00adgies for urban mobi\u00adli\u00adty of the future. TUM Inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal GmbH acted as the pro\u00adject manage\u00adment office.<\/div>\n

The Know\u00adledge and Inno\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon Com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adties (KICs)<\/a>, are legal\u00adly inde\u00adpen\u00addent part\u00adner\u00adships of uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties, sci\u00adence orga\u00adniza\u00adti\u00adons, com\u00adpa\u00adnies and other stake\u00adhol\u00adders that address sel\u00adec\u00adted future topics of socie\u00adtal rele\u00advan\u00adce at EU level. To this end, the part\u00adners invol\u00adved are to deve\u00adlop new pro\u00adducts, trai\u00adning con\u00adcepts or ser\u00advices and fer\u00adti\u00adli\u00adze the start-up sce\u00adne.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a> want to deve\u00adlop solu\u00adti\u00adons for sus\u00adtainable urban trans\u00adport. One of the 5 Inno\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon Hubs was crea\u00adted in Munich. The EU is con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adting around 400 mil\u00adli\u00adon euros to the major pro\u00adject, which is worth bil\u00adli\u00adons and is based in Bar\u00adce\u00adlo\u00adna.<\/p>\n

Air pol\u00adlu\u00adti\u00adon, con\u00adge\u00adsted roads, gaps in the public trans\u00adport net\u00adwork \u2014 the pres\u00adsu\u00adre on urban trans\u00adport is gro\u00adwing. At the same time, attrac\u00adti\u00adve public space, com\u00adfor\u00adta\u00adble mobi\u00adli\u00adty and a say for the popu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon in urban plan\u00adning are beco\u00adming incre\u00adasing\u00adly important. The core con\u00adsor\u00adti\u00adum was for\u00admed in 2015 by the Euro\u00adTech Alli\u00adance TU Munich<\/a>, Den\u00admar\u00adk\u2019s Tech\u00adni\u00adcal Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty (DTU)<\/a>, \u00c9co\u00adle poly\u00adtech\u00adni\u00adque f\u00e9d\u00e9\u00adra\u00adle de Lau\u00adsanne (EPFL<\/a> ) and TU Eind\u00adho\u00adven (TU\/e) <\/a>. A total of ele\u00adven Euro\u00adpean uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adties are now repre\u00adsen\u00adted in the con\u00adsor\u00adti\u00adum, and TUM is the only Ger\u00adman one. Making cities more liva\u00adble is also a major chall\u00adenge. \u201cThe most pre\u00adcious resour\u00adce in the city is space, and space is limi\u00adt\u00aded,\u201d Wulfhorst explains. One goal of MOBiLus is to make a por\u00adti\u00adon of the area curr\u00adent\u00adly used by motor vehic\u00adle traf\u00adfic available for other public uses.
