Dr. Susanne Sölch studied chemistry with a focus on biochemistry in Regensburg and Vienna. She successfully completed her doctoral thesis in the field of breast cancer research at TUM's Klinikum Rechts der Isar. For the next year and a half she was involved in founding and building the internet startup ranqq. At the end of 2015, Dr. Sölch moved to TUM International and took over the establishment of the Center for Technology and Knowledge Transfer (CTKT) between TUM and Evonik. Since mid-2017, she is now in charge of the Kutaisi University Complex (KUC) project, which is about designing a university based on the TUM model for up to 60,000 students in Georgia.
