Dr. Stefan März (born 1980) studied History and Political Sciences at Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich (Germany) and Université Paris-Sorbonne (France). Awarded with a postgraduate scholarship, he earned his PhD degree in 2012. In parallel, he worked for the global communications consultancy Hotwire in Frankfurt in 2011, focusing on international clients from the technology sector. Between 2012 and 2014, he managed Corporate Relations at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), implementing cooperation with a sizeable network of industry partners. In 2014, Dr. März joined the university’s subsidiary TUM International GmbH and took over the responsibility for the Center of Knowledge Interchange (CKI). Since 2016, he acts as the company's Director of Technology Transfer, Research Site Development and Talent Management as well as Head of the Business Division in Garching. In this role, he has proven to be instrumental in guiding the growth of the company’s practice. With an intimate knowledge of research and technology ecosystems, Dr. März is fostering innovation by facilitating university-industry collaboration and by consulting and implementing international capacity building projects at the interface of academia, industry and public authorites. Dr. März also authored a number of academic publications and is an experienced keynote speaker. |
