More than half of TUM's graduates lays the foundation for their future careers even during their studies. The close interaction of TUM with industry opens up exciting possibilities for its students: Tailor-made mentoring and talent develoment programs make it easy to gain practical experience and insights into companies, to gather career-relevant skills and to build up a professional network early on.

TUM International GmbH is in charge of the following mentoring programs at TUM:

SIEMENS-MENTORING-PROGRAM
Career development for TUM students focussing on IT or technology: IT- or technology-related TUM students will be guided and advised by Siemens senior executives over the duration of at least one year. As a mentee, you will be able to experience the corporate culture of a global enterprise at first hand and you will be supported and mentored in your personal study and career planning. At the heart of the program lies the individual development – as future professionals and as human beings. Internships and working student jobs at Siemens ensure the practical application of your studies. Application deadline for the class of 2017/18: October 1st, 2017.

mentorING
Careerbuilding for female students: mentorING supports female students of TUM with regards to their successful career start. The focal points of the industry-related development program for female high potentials are the orientation on the job market, the development of a solid professional network and the preparation for future callenges on the job. Mentors from renowned companies consult the mentees, while seminars and workshops provide job-relevant competencies. Please apply for the program until End of September 2017!
